Will G8 change anything?

I've been reading allot of different history books. It's amazing how so many things are the same as they were 100's, 1000's of years ago. At least the way people think. This week the G8 talks start in Scotland. I can only hope that they will listen to what so many have been saying about making poverty history and the environment. But I'm afraid that it will be the same again. The leaders will be thinking more about their own "little" country, than what is good for all mankind. I know it's big words and things are complicated, but is not possible to make a real start, that would make a difference.

Can I make a real start, that would make a difference?

I'm to work the 6 days!

When I think of the sabath I always think of rest, but the command is that we are to work the 6 days and only rest on the 7th. I always think about that one day of rest and don't care about the other six.
I thought it was a question of how do we get more people into the church on Sunday. It seems like God puts more focus on the working days than I do. The more I look in the Bible the more I see all the well known people there are normal working people, farmers, shephard, tent makers, ect.

If you have time take a look at this wiki I started Biblical working. A wiki is a place where everyone can add what they think.

Do I have responsibility?

I was at a conference here in Denmark, where the speakers were talking about how we can use IT and the Internet to make the world better. At the end of the two days there was trash all over the floor, everyone was thinking that someone else will take care of it. How can we beleave that we can make the world a better place, when we can't even take responsiblity for our own trash!

There is so much that should be done in this world, but it is much easier just to think that someone else will do it.
